CenturyLink enjoys the highest level of customer satisfaction of all the major telecoms. The homepage needed to reflect a commitment to their customers and their market position as a family-oriented telecom with a bright and vibrant palette and more engaging lifestyle imagery. This new brand tone was a significant departure from their previous site, which featured very dark grays and “tech” styled imagery.
On the UX side, there was an even greater challenge. Over the years, the CenturyLink site had grown into sections and loose landing pages that lacked any major organization. The navigation led to dead-end microsites that disrupted their customer’s orientation and distracted from their major products. I began to design the homepage as a hub to jump off to areas of the site that were only available in the navigation.
The cleanness of the overall design led to redesigning their other digital properties as well.

Another added bonus: this was all created to be mobile-ready.
